Social Support and Stress among Parents with Autism Spectrum Disorder Children

Common social interaction challenges, also patterns of restricted and repetitive behaviour, characterize Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This study aimed to determine the relationship between ASD child’s parents’ support parental stress. Samples parents were collected through National Society Malaysia. A demographic questionnaire, stress level was measured using Parental Stress Scale (PSS) perceived Multidimensional Perceived Social Support (MSPSS). Findings revealed that experiencing high support, results showed a significant negative (p < 0.05). Keywords: (ASD), Stress, eISSN ©Year The Authors.
